Our why
Idan and Safra are a compassionate and caring husband-wife
team, both veterans of the IDF. They started their own contracting company, Home Improvement Doc, LLC, after being stood up by more home improvement contractors than they could count.
Though they came in to change the home improvement
industry at large, they quickly found that the needs of our
seniors at home, are not being met. Our senior clients told us story after story of how they were taken advantage of, deserted mid project, lost their money to false promises and disappearing contractors. Recognizing a need to be met, they couple decided expand our work to specialize in support our at home senior community.
Safra became an NAHB Certified Age in Place Specialist, enabling Home Improvement Doc to expand into offering sustainable independent living solutions and supporting resources for home
improvement needs for our 55+ community. To honor our seniors, we choose to be of service in the best way we know how, by helping you to align your home to your unique needs, with great service, lots of support, and some good hearty laughs, along the way.
